Q3 How did your production skills develop throughout this project?
The process of making this blog was quite fun but it was more stressful than fun as it was very hard for me to complete the work on time. to overcome the mistake of delaying over and over again i started giving it more time which allowed me to be more organized.
the pre production demanded more research and knowledge about fashion magazines as i did not have a clear picture of it in mind but as i got the hang of it i knew i had to dig deep in the main theme.
The thinking period enabled me to understand the relation between institution and audience. it also helped me understand their point of view about fashion magazines.
i had a tough time experimenting with colors and different texts but i know about different photoshop applications so that made it a little easier for me to take my work forward.
creating a mood board for the magazine made my work alot easier as it helped me alot with the selection of the front cover,double spread and the contents page. i explored different types of fashion magazines and understood it deeply. choosing the fonts was equally important as selecting the images for the cover.
As the preliminary task was the hardest for me in the first place moving on i found it easy to make the final piece as i got the hang of it
